In yoga nidra we are guided to contemplate our highest intention; how we want to feel, what we want to cultivate more of. We inquire. We mindfully set an intention. Then we lie down on the floor with the support of soft blankets and pillows, and we rest. While we are resting we are guided to relax each part of the body. We fall into a space that feels like sleep as our brain waves move into slower brain wave activity - this is the gateway to our intuition & creativity - where we meditate & dream. In this space our intention is clear and our nervous system resets allowing us to experience increased coherence in our being; contentment, clarity and empowerment.
