We are excited to have Sydney Huebner come and share her pilates pop-up with us. Mat Pilates focuses on building core strength, improving posture, and enhancing flexibility through controlled movements performed on a mat. This practice emphasizes breath, alignment, and mindful movement to create strength, stability, and balance throughout the body. It is a beautiful compliment to our yoga practice.
Sydney is experienced with working with all age levels and has an amazing story that makes her very passionate about her work. All you need are clothes you can move in and a mat. Sydney will guide you into an experience of your own strength and ability on the mat.
Sydney began teaching Pilates at 17 after discovering the practice while recovering from stress fractures in her spine. What started as a tool for healing quickly became a passion that she carried with her into college. At TCU, she leads Mat Pilates Flow classes designed for all skill levels. Off campus she specializes in older adult mobility and taking things slow. Her classes focus on lengthening and stretching the body while building long, lean muscle mass helping students leave each class feeling strong, balanced and aligned.
